Adding the dust collection onto my miter saw has been the most improved addon to my saw. I would spent time cleaning up the dust. But now, I don't spend anytime at all cleaning up the dust. It does not capture all the dust, but at least 95% of the dust. Really impressed by the product! Kudos to the engineering team!

It took me a few minutes to figure out that the dust extractor goes goes much higher than I thought. Once I figured that out, I realized I didn’t have a torx 30 screwdriver or a bit. I went to Lowe’s and bought the appropriate tip. It cost about four dollars. Then I came back and installed it installation took approximately five minutes. I was surprised at how much sawdust it picked up. Using my miter saw as a much more pleasant experience now. While I am not a volume user, even having it on for a few minutes a week makes a huge difference in the amount of sawdust. I have to pick up. Strong work.

My particular model is listed, however, the series that I have will not work with the mounting bracket supplied. I am in the process of redesigning the bracket to 3D print myself. I do like the actual dust collection chute, which is why I am going to try to make this work.

It works fine on 90 degrees until you set the saw at 45 degrees for a straight cut, there is blowby. Other than that, I am happy that I have it installed.

Because of how close the miter saw is mounted to the wall, I was unable to use the stock dust port but can easily use the flex dust hose!

Marginally better at dust collection compared to stock DeWalt that came on saw. The gain for me here was the increased versatility connecting the vacuum hose. Flexible connection allows me to easily connect to my dust collection and be close to the wall. May try to increase length of rubber curtain to capture more dust. Easy to install.

It definitely collects more dust than the stock shroud, but the alignment of the plastic piece (chute body?) isn't centered on the blade so the blade is right up against the plastic on one side and has a large gap on the other side of the blade. There doesn't appear to be any adjustment of the piece. It's not a big deal since the blade can cut the plastic easily, but it's not a good fit. Without question it has definitely reduced the amount of dust that's behind the saw compared to how it used to be.

Fit well, did improve dust collection. When doing a LH 45 cut the rubber flap hits the fence and the blade does then remove a small portion of the flap. It would be an improvement to develop something that would push the flap clear of the blade or form the flap to stay clear in this position.

Went on easy and fit perfect. Dust collection works good with softer woods but not as much for denser wood, pvc or aluminum. This could get better when I get a proper dust extractor compared to my shop vac. Lifesaver when working indoors due to weather constraints. (DWS716XPS)

After reviewing the installation video and understanding that the mounting bracket was universal for all 715 and 716, it fit and worked as described. Doesn’t get every morsel but a noticeable improvement over the stock Dewalt setup.

Researched different options for a few months and felt shop nation was worth a try. I installed it and put it to use replacing baseboards. I did some without the dust guide and the rest with it installed. It made a huge difference in the amount of dust. Definitely takes time off cleanup. Already told family about it and they are purchasing one also. It's well worth it. As long as there is a model for the saw I have this will be my go to miter saw dust collection.

I ordered the kit for the DeWalt De715 / 716. My saw is the DW706 and the kit fit perfectly. I based my purchase on the pictures and compared them to my saw.
I was impressed with build and ingenuity of the kit. Oh yah it sucks, dust that is.

Great product for my Dewalt mitersaw. Catches nearly all the dust emitted better than the stock unit. Easy install.
The plastic part broke when a piece of wood was flung back in to it. I contacted Shop Nation and was offered 60% off on a replacement part.
I ordered the part and instead of sending me just the part ordered, Shop Nation sent me the complete kit!
Excellent customer service, great improvement in dust collection. Wish the part was made out of a stronger material.

A couple things I would like to see addressed are..
- the rubber is just a bit too wide. I trimmed about 1/4" off and also had to taper the bottom corners so the would not catch on the fence when turned at 45°. I still need to slide the fence out a little on both sides to keep it from catching on the rubber.
- it would also be nice if the adaptor would engage the fitting better. It does not take much to have it twist off.

It does a decent job. Doesn't suck up dust very well at the beginning of the cut, but does well the last 75%. Easy to put on, i would recommend taking blade off. The big problem I have is it doesn't fit my 2 1/2 inch hose very well. It probably fits on about an 1/8 inch if that. I will have to try and ream it out a little bit for a better fit. Overall idea is good, fit could be better.

It works really well. I did have to trim the rubber piece so it would not interfere with the blade guard - so not sure if I installed something wrong or if this will impact it. It seems to work just fine with the trimming.

The dust collection is fantastic and is definitely an improvement over the stock set up. It is well designed and fits perfectly. My only gripe is the use of the small screws to secure the rubber chute to the housing does not seem to be the best choice and I am concerned about the longevity of this particular piece.

I purchased the kit for my Dewalt 705 miter saw, even knowing that the description indicated it was only for the 715 model. I figured I could find a way to make it work. Alas, it will not work on my 705. I cannot remove the existing sawdust collection tube from my model.
But I do not fault Shop Nation. This was my gamble.
